How to include pictures with posts?

Need help here - tried posting a picture of my LP screen and nothing I've tried works. Have the picture image on the desk top. How do I put it into my post?
Tried copying, but then there is no paste function letting me place to the post. Thanks. Bob

Its free.

press the "Browse" button and find your picture.
then press "host it!" button.

You will get a link that you can copy and paste into your post.

Note:Its only free to upload images up to 1Mb (1024K) in size. So if its your whole desktop the file size might be too big.
