That's it. The xbrite looks like a different beast. As people will say over and over again, the Dell appears to the Honda Accord buyers out there: bang for the buck. It's a reliable, well-made laptop that has great value for the price. Sony buyers are your acura, bmw crowd. Good laptop, possibly better in some ways (screen, keyboard, design), but a lot of it is based on reputation. And all at a nice price premium. The ways in which the Sony would be inferior (bad video cards, lower speed hard drives), are often overlooked and for some reason don't tarnish the reputation.
Listen, if you really have a 700m which looks like it has nushield, then you have to contact Dell because you got a bad screen, and i even bet they will give you a $100,00 refund as well.
And btw, i have a toyota corolla 97!!
