Cpu Upgrade

Hi All,
I was just wondering is it possible to purchase a ZD8000 or an X6000 with say a 2.8 GHZ CPU and upgrade to a 3.6 your self later down the road ???

After all at one time both machine were offered with a 3.6 !!!!

Yes, you can...Just have to make sure the processor you buy would be of the same category(mobile, DTR, desktop). Also it should be the same socket as the 2.8GHz.

If they offered the zd8000 with the 3.6 then the BIOS will probably support them.
