Do they offer any performance increases? I would love to see some benchmarks just for kicks.

100 points... maybe...

Eahn. I'm not sure how much of an increase I had. Maybe 100 points.

Testing using "quality" in the nVidia control panel, but all other settings off, I had:

3D Mark 05 4878

3D Mark 03 11047

XPS Gen 2|2.0 GHZ|1GB RAM|80GB 5400 HDD|GeForce 6800 Ultra

Using the modded 76.50's raised 3d mark from 5065 to 5319. Which really isn't that great of a score but, I do have tons of processes so Imquite pleased with it

Gantua...what drivers did you have before you switched...need to know!

I don't know about you guys, but killing all unnecessary process in my system tray did nothing for my 3Dmark05 score...not a damn point!

I went from stock Dell drivers that it shipped with to the 76.44 ones and increased from 5025ish to 5317..... all of the processes and bloatware still on.

Should add I also used driver cleaner pro to wipe out traces of the old drivers.

3dMark05 with these new Dell drivers gives me 5105. Using the 76.50 drivers I get 5335.

I'm steering this somewhat off-topic, but what are the recommended ForceWave Drivers for the standard 6800 GO?

It's all the same ultra or not for drivers, the most stable and high scoring seems to be 76.44.
