maybe modem problem

hi all.i use the modem to connect to the net.everything ok.when i'm disconnected and try to turn off the laptop,it stuck on the screen of windows which says ''saving your settings''.many times appear a window which says ''end program-connection tray''.the icon for the connected computers in the taskbar never disappear even if i select disconnect.if anyone can help.

it sounds like you have spyware on your computer from being on the internet.

go here, and download this anti-spyware program called Adaware for free

if you already have that or use other similar anti-spyware programs, than your windows may be corrupt. put the windows CD in your tray and reboot the computer. boot up using the windows CD and in there should be an option to repair windows.

the same thing happens to me too my friend. i do not know to do. Maybe you can tell me if it was a spyware like the the first guy told you

no.the manufacturer told to wait for a bios upgrade.
