Wow! that's some hi-res goodnes here! Awesome! Any chance we can have a look at the inside???? I know this has been done for the Acer 8100. And the pics are somwhere on these forums. So anybody?? I'd really like to know if the expresscard slot is implemented on the mobo and how the cooling system has been designed.

I too wondered what the chip is for, I was thinking it was part of the card reader but it doesnt seem to be. And the case smelt absolutely awful, so I just chucked it as there was no use for it.

just got mine yesterday w00t , "chips" are adapters for ide or sata set ups , and yes that black case was stinky heh , think thats for bag you put yer infos in it, fer travilin and such
