Don't make me set all mine up to compete. We have very similar set up including the keyboard. That person in the backround looks like gramma from Napolean Dynomite. She tell you tell make some quesadillas?

Hehe, Darth… I resemble that remark. I am the grampa that goes with that gramma.

The program just takes from the registry the key from the installation. It is fool proof.

Perhaps Alienware after building your system forgot to wipe their master key and give you your key? When you got the system did it ask you for a Windows license key when you first booted it? It should have. If it did and you did not have the key you will have to get it from AW if it was not included.

Razyl - When I booted up the first time I went directly to the desktop without going through an activation or installation procedure.

Today a fed-ex box (overnight priority) showed up with a new side panel (with grill), a complete acoustic padding set and a valid windows product key sticker. I am impressed and grateful.

I am now seriously considering buying the identical system for my older son.

I just made the tech support people earn their money. I attempted to upgrade the Bios from 1002 to 1007. I had failed to write down the all the settings. This lead to me being locked off the hard drives...

I called and they were not happy. They made me go back to 1002 and stepped me through the needed settings. I tried to write me them down but it went too quick. That leads to the question...

Does anyone have a copy of the Bios setting for an Aurora ALX SLI system? We are going to need this Darth if we are going to upgrade.

I have it in an email from AW. Lemme find it and get it to you later.
