Thats right, its been a while since I promised I'd do it and now I've done it! I spent the last two days re-writing the site so its far more dynamic and easy to update. If anyone is interested in assisting in keeping the site up to date (submitting drivers) just private message me. Any feedback is more then welcome and if you have anything to contribute just let me know and send a copy of it off to emachines@fizi.ca.

Nice job Fizi! Keep up the good work! I need to start adding material to the Gateway sister site (http://gateway.kaido.net). Too many other things on my plate right now lol

I was thinking of starting to add Gateway information to my site as well since our laptops are based on the same basic hardware. Then I checked my webstats and saw you're site as a referer(sp?) and decided to hold off since you were already doin the job for me

I like your site as well, keep up the good work.

well, I have the unoffical 64bit ati-mobile drivers. It is 26mb, too big to email. If you have a place that I can upload it, I will.

Can you private message me a URL to download it? Otherwise the emachines (at) fizi.ca addy has no attachement limit.

I have a couple comments...

I like the site because it is to-the-point and clean and easy to read. You said its easier to update, and I find that is essential for a successful website (function over form). With that said, I do believe you could add a little more flair to the site. Its a little too "text only" for my tastes. You dont have to go crazy with Flash and all, but maybe some rounded edges here, a logo over there, maybe blend the parts (title, navigation, content) together more, just small things to make the site look a little better.

-Cool-

Ya I was thinking of something like that, had an idea for a logo too. I just suck at design heh.

Just wondering why there's the realtek audio drivers and not the via vinyl audio drivers (for the VT8235 southbridge) on the site? Maybe it was just me, or just the specific drivers, but I thought the via audio drivers were a little bit better. Anyone else have an opinion on the audio drivers?

Isn't the M68xx's soundcard a Realtek?
Yes

It is a realtek chip, however, the via drivers work... and I think they work pretty good. Well, they worked better than the realtek drivers at the time I started using them anyway.

Looking for a mirror. I need someplace to host the following file:

Gateway 7426gx Driver Pack (27mb)

You guys downloading it from me when I'm playing Battlefield 2 is killing my ping . Please just e-mail me if you have some webspace and bandwidth.

I'm in the same boat. Got my 7510gx about a week ago, and I just reformatted without realizing I needed to burn the drivers, so now I'm stuck with no ethernet/sound/video card drivers. If anyone happens to come across them, I'd appreciate it if you could share them. Thanks.

I have the drivers, send me an email or contact Fizi I already sent all drivers to him

we will help you , do not worry

The Resource Portal is down right now due to a DNS issue. I'm fighting through it right now trying to get things back to normal, all my DNS is down except fizi.ca as far as I can tell. Once it comes back yup I will make a few updates like correcting the bios download page and adding the drivers for the 7510GX.

Edit: DNS has been resolved. I gotta get to sleep though. I will take care of the updates when I get off work tomorrow. Or maybe while I'm at work, depends how bored I get

Edit: Alright the site is updated. I lost the 7510GX driver pack, I'm working on tracking it down again.
