S360 vs S380 + S270

What are the differences? I would like to customize a 360 but I see on Sony you can't do that. I would really like Bluetooth built in but in order to do that I would have to have it customized and I can get the S360 for around 1600.00 versus a lot more on Sony if i want the BT. Anyway, if someone could tell me the difference between the 3 models that would be great.

And, i keep reading where you have to make your own back up CD's. I am not a compter tech type person. Is this difficult to do? Why did they not include it?

the 270 is a customizable 360

the 360 is a set version

S360 = S270, but S360 is a rigid configuration, and S270 is the customizable version (with BT option).

The S380 is the same platform, but with the newer alviso chipset and sonoma core.

I just ordered a new customized 270 that is due to arrive tomorrow. I added the Bluetooth option, 1 gig RAM, the 5400 80 gig HD and the 9700 ATI chip. I'm not handy with cracking the hood, so I just ordered it from Sony.

This will be my first laptop and I can't wait until tomorrow.
