TV Tuner

Hey,
Can anyone recommend a good USB TV tuner. I'm on a budget, and it has to have coax input. I'm not having very good luck searching around, so anyone's input would help.

I just got the adaptec videoh! media center usb 2.0 edition. Just installed it and it seems to be fairly good watching live tv. I haven't done any recording yet. Also, I got the snapstream PVS3 software. If you play around with the settings, the picture seems to be even better than with the software that came with the tuner. If you get PVS3, you need to download the patch to upgrade to version 3.2 in order for it to play nice with the tuner. When I first installed it, I couldn't get the sound working until I got the patch. PVS3 seems to be a really awesome software, even though I haven't played around with it too much yet since I just got it. Also, I'm still waiting for my IR blaster so I can control my cable box from the computer... probably have to get a remote too... Anyone know when ATI remote wonder II is coming out?

Oh yeah, I'm using an Inspiron 8600 1.7ghz pentium M, 2 gig RAM, geforce fx go 5650 by the way.

Yes, mine ran pretty smooth so far, again I haven't played around with it too much.

On the snapstream website there is a list of tuner cards that it supports and adaptec was one of them.

Yeah it works great with Snapstream personal video station (v3.2) so far. I was looking for a solution for controlling a cable box from the computer and PVS3 came up during my researching on the web. It also has a lot of other cool features (haven't gotten around to testing them yet). It got pretty good reviews from a couple different websites, can't remember them offhand though.

You need to buy the IR blaster for the cable box separately (snapstream also sells it) though if you need that. I ordered it but its still on backorder, ugh...
