SIS645DX vs. INTEL845E

Well, for one, I know that the Intel chipset supports hyperthreading (the feature in the 3.06GHz processor) while I'm pretty sure the SIS chipset does not. That wouldn't pertain to you unless you were planning to put in an HT processor later. I know also that no intel chipset to date has 8x AGP for graphics (their max is 4x) and SIS does have 8x AGP chipsets... I don't know if the one you listed has that, but it wouldn't matter because the M9 is a 4x chip....

What resellers have you found that use an SIS chipset? I've not seen any in my searches that I noticed at least, lol.

Lol, well, I can't read German either... I'll just take your word for it and say that they are prolly just using a different motherboard setup for their laptop... Personally, I prefer intel chipsets, since I'm using an Intel processor... others really like SIS, especially people who want to use the latest graphics cards on desktops. Others on the forums may give a different opinion.
