Im looking for soething that I can use for gaming, but it doesnt need to be extremely fast, Ive got a desktop for that. What Im looking for is a decent graphics chip, maybe a 6600go, pentium M and 512Mb ram. Hard part is id like it under $1000. Everything else doesnt matter too much. Is there anything out there like this?

You won't get anything with the 6600 or the ATI equiv the x700 for even under 1500. Your best bet is to get something like the CL56 (slightly over 1000) with the Radeon 9700 128mb VRAM.

Here in the UK, the Evesham Voyager C510 comes with the Geforce Go 6600 and it costs £999 for the lower specced one.

uh, that's $1900 U.S.

You can do a base configuration on a Compal CL56 and Asus Z80K for about $1450 each, a base config on an Asus Z71V runs about $1500...

(base config that I'd consider using for gaming = PM or AMD64 processor, 1gig ram, 60gig hard drive, combo cdrw/dvd, wifi)

I think if you wait for the right deal to come around with coupons/sales from Dell you can configure a 9300 for slightly over $1000. Save up a little more and get something decent!

the graphics chip makes it expensive. Shop around for a CL 56 they go for 1200 or less. (in the right places)

$1105 for a 1.6GHz Dothan (Pentium M 725), 512MB ram and 40GB hdd. I was looking at one of them, but I think I might just save the extra for the Z71V.
