MR9800 VRAM Types

Thread Starter
Alright, before this piece of crap gets replaced by Dell, here are is what it says on all the VRAM chips:
Samsung 428
K4055323QF-GC33

It wont clock the RAM much higher than 400 at all. Maybe 404 at tops.

Aghhghgh ****, my stupid screen just got all ****ed up again. I hate this computer with all my heart.

Me too!! It's like a love/hate relationship. But it's more I love my laptop and I hate Dell.
That's why I found a way to give Dell a piece of their own medicine. I can't tell you how yet, cause I've read they are Dell spies in this forum. I will tell you in one month when I'll do it.
O.k. Now I have to flip the light switch on and off 36 times or something bad is going to happen to me.

p.s. Do the colours appear when you plug an external monitor?
If you call tech support they will probably tell you that it is reality that needs adjustment and there is nothing wrong with the laptop. And they will convince to to buy their new next business day dell psychological support.

I posted this a while back on RAM speeds for the MR9800

Determine your memory speed on your MR9800

I was hoping it could help determine maximum overclock.
