9300 case cracking

there seems to be a crack on both sides of my 9300 case. it's at the very front of the case at the very corner where it finishes the curve. its not on the screen part but on the main body part of the laptop its about half an inch inward. dont know what to do ... love this machine and dont want to return it

Just do a search on these forums, someone freaked out about the big "crack" thing. But everyone has it; it's just a manufacturing seam. No worries, enjoy the lappy, can't beat DELL

Man, some people are just too obessed with every little scratch on their new 9300.

Mine came with adhesive from the rubber stoppers all over my monitor bezel :P

Do the cracks look like this:

Seriously, those 'cracks' are not really cracks and they are pretty much on every 9300 made.

I thought it was a crack in the case as well and had them ship me a new palm rest assembly.

I got that today, took a look at it, and went.. doh!!!.. don't I feel dumb..

It's a seam on the outside, but not on the inside of the assembly. Almost like it was suppost to be there.

Mine doesn't have that crack you mentioned... manufacturing defect?
