Just getting a Sentia and worndering due to the lack in performance from the GFX card what standard of games can we play? even online games?

Not really a game but my wife's 1.8 ghz Sentia with 1gb ram runs www.there.com with ease. My three year old Dell Inspiron 2ghz P4 with 512mb of ram and 64mb vga is no where near as good as the Sentia... especially the screen.

Not sure why I'm celebrating as I have the Dell and she has the Sentia... lol But I know what my replacement will be.

I can play just about any game you name on my sentia, including HL2, have to turn the graphics down a bit on some of the newer games, but they still run with nice framerates. Some people cannot bear the thought that a 64MB vid card can actually be useful. Tsk Tsk to them.

Havn't tried it, but with your rig (2G processor 1G Ram, if I'm not mistaken) It should run fine, you're well above the mins. Although I'd put another 1024 stick in just for good measure.

Yep, pretty much anything will run. You do need to turn the quality down however. I hope you knew that this was not a gaming laptop before you bought it.

My Sentia runs HL2 fine (2Ghz, 2GB RAM). You can also play almost any sports game and almost any RTS game as well. I'm playing Crusader Kings right now, and it flies.

Hey Commander...You may have checked out this site already...if not make sure to check it out for all your Sentia Questions.

It's a real nice site Booga made for his Sentia >>>> http://www.slacker.net/alienware/

However, it's an older model Sentia I think...so yours should do better with his listed.games.
