and OneTake, the Z71v is great for a college-bound student. I'm in grad school, and it's light enough to take to classes, quiet enough to not disturb anyone when I'm in class, has a long enough battery life to get through my 3.25 hour long classes without a problem, and has enough power to do whatever I want with it in and out of class.
krazy Josh, I'd personally recommend buying from Discount Laptops. They have some of the best ratings in the business, they won't charge you too much, and they offer an accidental damage warrantee. If you get an Asus Z71v (Chembook 2371v at DL), you can also check out http://www.istnc.com/store, where I got mine, and http://www.proportable.com, where smilepak got his. These are both excellent resellers. The only reason I recommend Discount Laptops over them is the accident protection warrantee, which neither of the other ones have.
