Excellent Site For Widescreen Wallpaper

Like probably a lot of you, i've been searching around for a decent site with some good widescreen wallpaper to fit my I9200's 1440x900 resolution. After some time I finally found this site:

http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/r...ons.php?w=1440

This site has over 30 pages of excellent widescreen shots for all widecreen resolutions. And the best part is that they're absolutely free!
Check it out!

I have a good site too, mainly for 1920x1200 though. It actually lists sites that have good wallpaper.

You have to admit, the wallpaper of the Golden Gate Bridge that was just added to the site is fantastic:

outstanding site. when i first got my i6000d i could find hardly anything with decent wallpaper that i could actually use. this rocks. great stuff.

OS X has spoiled me...it comes with a wallpaper changer built into the system, so now I have it set to change the paper every time I log back into the system. I never collected wallpaper before but now I have, all together, probably 6-700 images, none smaller than 1440x900.

I knew about Interfacelift.com, but since seeing this thread I picked up a couple hundred more from other places.

Can someone please email me (personal message me for email address) the default widescreen desktop image for 700m?

I have a N-series build which meant I had to buy my own copy of Windows seperately so I never had a wallpaper when I received my 700m.

I stumbled on Blatte's a week or so ago. Amazing looking backgrounds.

The Fractal stuff there is fantastic.

Fractals rocks, there are like 100 wallpapers to choose, in all wide screen resolutions

ok kakaze. what are some of these other sites then? it doesn't contribute much to the thread to point out that you have found more elsewhere without listing where

Read what I said again, Skechada... "but since seeing this thread I picked up a couple hundred more from other places."

still don't get it... i read your post as saying you found some other sites with great big wallpapers (other than this site). my apologies if i read it wrong. i just want to find other cool wallpapers!

btw - lifehacker.com just posted a couple links to some decent wallpaper sites. not quite as cool or customizable as the parent, but not bad...

and this site has some cool abstract/multi-monitor wallpapers: www.mandolux.com

Meaning that after I found the links in this thread that I got many more wallpapers.

kakaze, do you use any specific program to switch out the desktop wallpapers automatically? And if so what is it/where'd you get it.

Thanks,

Tellerve

You should try living by it :-)
It's midnight and I hear wildlife all around me--birds chirping, gentle rolling waves, and the fresh cedar breeze. No sounds of cars anywhere.
When it isn't cloudy, it is one of the few things in life that doesn't disappoint.
