sony notebook support sucks.

Sounds good but Sony Notebook support sucks.

I liked Sony until I owned one of their notebooks, VAIO.
The hardware was fine but the support for drivers was a nightmare.

It had XP Home on it and I upgraded it the XP Pro.
I went to the website to get the drivers for hardware components and nothing was there.
I called support and they said they didn't support XP Pro on that notebook.

So I am very leary of Sony now. If I can avoid a sony notebook I will.

I'm reading that this is bogus.. everyone are saying that there is no such thing as a 120gb hdd coming anytime soon for laptops...

Well it may not be 100% bull, because I do know that Sony just recently started the new notebook cycle, and pladged something crazy like 30 new models in the next few months, so something like this book may be on the way.
A 120gig notebook harddrive is @ least a year awy for sure tho.

While the Sony GRT series exists, it uses the NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5600 graphics chips and not the ATI 9600. See this Sony press release for more info:

wow, this is some super laptop, But rest assured it will set you back 4000 dollars at least
