I am now the owner of a Presonus Firebox. I am having terrible problems with recording audio. I am experiencing dropouts and clicks.

I discovered that XP Service Pack 2 limits firewire to a lower speed, so I applied the patch from here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885222

This did not fix my problem.

Has anyone had experience setting up any firewire card with an Inspiron 4pin firewire interface? Is there something obvious I am overlooking?

BTW, is the I9200 4pin firewire A or B ?
