i'm looking for a laptop for my nephew for college and would like opinions from personal experience with the gateway 3522gz and the gateway 6510gz. he needs 60+hd, 1gb ram, centrino technology, dvd/rw, 3-4 hrs. battery life, 12-15 screen size, nice graphics, etc. this is mainly for school. thanks for your input.

thanks, your review has helped me rule out gateway, now i only have to choose between toshiba, sony, and hp. as you can tell, i'm not a savvy techie, i know enough to do my job and do basic maintenance(just enough to be dangerous!). again, thanks for the help.
