I'm glad somebody here has a sense of humor. I have a cousin whom is just getting back from serving in Iraq, so it definitely touches home for me. We've always been concerned about his well being, along with everybody else who has to put up with that mess over there.

speaking of humor...

I convoyed through Baghdad and back again yesterday to buy supplies for my communications shop. Got stuck in traffic jams....had to muscle cars out of our convoy who have no buisness being in between two military trucks...had a couple of AK's pointed at my face as I drove by...and saw a dead Iraqi man laying on the side of a major highway.

All I could think about was, "I wonder what phase I'm on now?"

Oh man - nobody should have to go through that! At least the phase game is serving as a distraction.

Can't you just tell them you need to go home to pick up your laptop and stay for a month to test it out? Then tell them you really don't want to go back but you will work half days at the recruiter's office checking email and stuff.
