Adam- 8890 +New Drivers

Adam: Is it recommended that 8890 owners install any or all of the drivers on the Sager page?:

when i had to reformat my computer...i went through all of them. they r the same drivers that r provided on the cd...except for the patched 7.93 video drivers and the tv tuner software.

Yes, the new ones are recommended, but they should have came with all the systems after the first shipment.

The patch

I notice the patch is simply an executable compressed file with no archive or readme. So, I assume all you have to do to patch the drivers is run that file. Is that correct? No need to reinstall drivers and apply. Just run the patch file?

there's actually another new version of 7.93s. its the whql version however i haven't installed them yet so i don't know of any differences yet.
