Everytime I boot my notebook, even though I have wireless networking turned off, it still displays this annoying taskbar popup msg that I have to click on to make it go away.

How can I supress this popup msg?

thanks

Well, I got registry fixes that remove all those annoying ballons, but I dunno if you want to get rid of EVERY such balloon. If so, pm me.

I have my wireless disabled via FN-F2. The lights are off. That's why I was posting. If I've knowingly turned it off, why does it have to keep annoying me?

If you have an Intel Wireless NIC, you can switch to the Intel Wireless Connection Manager, it disables the windows manager, therefore disabling that balloon message as well. Plus the Intel manager is much better.
