Good idea! Yes, the colors are much more vibrant in person, but this is true any time to try to capture a dynamic paint.

We tried to capture all of the colors within the chameleon paint, so we had to actually bend our samples. Anyone who has ever seen this kind of paint will know what I mean.

I think once these start arriving and the doorsteps of our customers, everyone will have a better idea of how awesome they really are.

u know, there are other routes that can be taken..

i Know MANY auto shops around here that will do custom paint, using the same auto paint. So, if you want, check around some places locally. U might be supprised.. :P
Only Caveat to that is that it will kill your sager warranty most likely.. you have to ask if it would be worth it.. it wouldnt be to me..

They look "grainy" because they're automotive paints. Automotive paints, particularly those, tend to have particulate matter in them -- usually flakes -- to enhance the effect of the paint. In fact, that's entirely how the Chameleon paints work.

The Hummer paints are just "metallic" paints -- paints with shiny flecks in them.

If you want to know what they look like other than that swatch, google for "hummer $COLOR_NAME" and you're bound to find pictures (particularly using their image search feature).

I tried googling for chameleon red/gold and got pages full of karma chameleon links LOL

If you have not seen a vehicle in chameleon you are definitely missing out. I have a friend that paints vehicles 'on the side' and he has told me that paint is something like $500 a gallon. This was a year or so ago when it was still very new, surely it has come down some.

As far as matching custom chameleon colors I would be surprised if this can be done.

So just for clarification... Adam, there is no way in hell that i'm getting my 5670 painted without voiding the warranty? If so, I must say that I'm severely disappointed. I really want to get mine done... Maybe if i upgraded it to the 5680, could i send it in for the upgrade and get it painted at the same time, or does upgrade go through Sager and paint through Pctorque?
