Owners of the Uniwill 223

Thread Starter
Speak up guys. I'm looking for a laptop that will do PSCS and AutoCAD on the road. I don't need mega power, looking for more portability than power.

What do you think of the Uniwill 223 ibuypower.com

PSCS just really to preview the pics and dump them to my portable HD. AutoCAD just to do updates and very little 3D. Any recommendations.

TIA

I would say get it from somewhere else like EKM or Mwave. I have bought like 5 223 from EKM and they have really good service and it is real fast also. For example one of the 223 had a broken keyboard and I sent them an email and they send me a new keyboard right away. That laptop is really cool. Also, now in EKM they sell them with the glossy screen and it looks even better than the ones with normal screen, plus the keyboard is much better in the new laptops. I would recomend it, however I have my eyes on the new MSI S270, for us engineers is better to have an Athlon 64 for CAD and Math software. Plus Windows 64 is almost out and many CAD and Math programs are going to go 64bits so that would give us even more power to work. You should look into that too.
