FS Asus z80k

Thread Starter
Notebook has been used since January 19th, 2005. No problems, and may I add it has never crashed on me. My programs may have crashed but I have NEVER been forced to reboot this notebook. Beautiful... for pictures of follow the link to the review in my signature.

Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 81.5W
1gb ram (2x512)
ATI 9700 with 128mb ram
Windows XP Pro
40gb 7200 rpm HDD
15.1" 4:3 SXGA+ display
DVD/CDRW 8x/24X24X24X combo drive

Notebook will be shipped in original packaging so far as I can find it, with original software. I will format the HDD and do a clean install/update, and will install any free (legal) programs you wish, such as antivirus or media player software.

Asking $1400 US, negotiable, shipped. I live in Canada so I will only pay for shipping to US/Canada.

NO TRADES except maybe for a portable, high battery life turion + cash.

I'm selling because I wish to upgrade to something more portable in the AMD Turion line. Sell now (or get a feel for the market), find Turion later

Please ask if there are any questions.

I was thinking of getting the averatec 4100 when it comes out. If it's the right price and has the ATI 200M graphics.

z80k still FS! slight price drop. Offer me!

i would probably consider buying if it were for around $900 Shipped. through paypal.

because u can buy similar systems now for bout $1000 new and with turion coming out you can finally have a 64-bit lappy u can take out of the house. let me know. thanks

I find systems with the A64 and similar specs are in the 1550 to 1750 range without shipping. Buying the barebones is 1000 shipped, but this isn't exactly the barebones is it?

Of course I would except to sell for less than it can be bought new for, but $900 just doesn't hold true for systems with these specs.
