power management issue

the Screen saver kicks in at 7 mins as it's told to!

the monitor is SUPPOSE to turn off at 15 mins inactivity, it does not!

what's wrong?

try resetting the times... then hit apply... restart... check it out...

ok 5 min for screen saver, 10 mins for monitor screen, 25 min for standby.

removed the Extra battery replaced with Floppy drive (Re-booted)

Lets see what happens

ok here's what happens!
5 mins Screen saver kicks in. at the 10 min mark when the monitor should go off, the desktop pic re comes up. monitor doesn't go off.

I wasn't able to solve this.

the Screen saver works fine, the power settings to turn off monitor does NOT!

so what I've done is this: 5 mins for Screen saver then 10 mins later, Standby mode to kick in, this works.
