Hey guys, new person here. I'm a computer tech, but haven't used IBM products much, and am not to familar w/ laptop repair, so bear with me.

I have an IBM thinkpad 600 lappy, PII, 20g drive, 128 mem, etc.

The LCD was f*** up when I got it, so I removed the screen and am awaiting my replacement in the mail. Meanwhile, I'm tryin to install win XP in this computer, as it had it before. About 75% of the way, I get this stop error.

stop: 0x000000e0 (0x00000001, 0x80000003, 0x00008080, 0x80a53000)

would the missing LCD screen have anything to do with this??
