Looking for a place to buy...

Hello.
I am looking to buy or lease a Sager 56xx laptop.
I would like to find a place that has rates for Educational Institute purchases or the best rates. I am looking to purchase one for my use and then eventually purchase a few more for faculty\staff\students. (Even a good leasing program would be helpful).
Any info would be help.

I am not sure there's too many resellers (or Sager directly) that leases; typically one would just go to their bank or creditor for that (when dealing with smaller companies).

Also, the prices of the Sager laptops are such that there is really minimal markup, so as far as educational discounts or rates go, there are none (that I've ever heard of).

An alternate is to check with places like TIGER DIRECT who specialize in liquidating outdated models (i.e. the ones just before the latest releases). I recently saw an 8887 (same as my model) for $1999 (mind you, this was a $2800-ish laptop in February and still kicks butt).

Ask Adam about the lease option. He turned me on to a company called Marlin Leasing. If you have a business this may be the way to go.
