Asus M5Np Benchmarks

I ordered an M5Np from isntc.com in this configuration:

- Pentium M 755 2.0 GHz
- 256 MB RAM (on board)
- 60 GB, 5400 RPM, 8 MB cache hard drive.

It benchmarked:

PCMark04 - 3219
3DMark2001 - 2446
3DMark03 - 115
(note: all demo versions)

I plan on ordering a 1 GB stick of RAM to add to it and I will report back in a week or two with the new results.

I have 1 question though. What are the normal temps on a Pentium M? At 100% CPU usage I've managed to reach 85C, which scares me. When it is idle with SpeedStep on the temp is only 40C.

I didn't know that they made 1GB microdimm sticks... those must be expensive.

Indeed they do. Made by Swissbit, 1 GB costs $369 either direct from them or Portable One.
