Well not too sure how much of the information was posted before, but I couldn't find another thread.
For those who did NOT receive a copy of their OS, then first go to START>PROGRAMS>DELL ACCESSORIES>Dell OS Recovery CD
If it is there, then right click on the Icon and click properties. Then click the "Find Target..." and it'll open the folder where all the information is stored. (You can copy these files to another place just to make sure that after you burn a copy of the OS you can still have it - although you can just copy one CD multiple times. But just to let you know, I made 2 CDs)
If you go to your C: drive and try to go to the folder manually, it won't appear.
Now this is for those who didn't get an OS cd AND the short cut in your programs menu! Right click on your desktop NEW>Shortcut.
For the location of the item:
C:\DELL\MEDIAEXE
Then this should hopefully get you there.
