Probably because a lot of students get a laptop after graduation for college-like me (come on Turion!!!!)
I got my first laptop in 8th grade from circuit city. Second laptop in 11th grade from dell. Working on my 3rd next year for college.
I want to wait for something better then the xps2, but I don't think I can wait that long. I have a passion for notebooks.
