Thanks subtle_spectre for hosting!!!!

Change Log..
- Add's dimmtemp to graph
- Allow's lower selection of temp's
- Setup for i9300/xps2 systems with all the latest updates incorporated
- redesigned layout
- Fixed Nvidia 6800go temp sensor reading
- Tested on a 9100 and 9300

version 2.2.1.02

Installation Notes:
Install i8kfangui 2.2 - http://www.diefer.de/i8kfan/

Make sure that i8kfangui is closed
Delete the following registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CD\I8KFAN

Copy the i9kfangui to your i8kfangui installation folder, double click to run.
You must run i9kfangui after you have deleted the registry values, if you run i8kfangui first the registry settings will not be correct and the application will function abnormally.

Nice job looking good! Will this work on the XPS Gen 1 also?

No way to turn fans off even when freezing with the temp control?

EDIT: nevermind, I figured it out.

I've deleted the Registry Value, but I'm confused about how to open the .rar file and change the file in the installation folder.

My DIMM and GPU temps are reversed. Anyone else have that problem? Everything else looks great!

Did you delete the registry values ?
If not give that a try, it will reset them all to the new default.

yup sure does.

Yep, I did delete the reg key prior to reporting the issue. I also noticed that the second fan (GPU) does not follow the temp profiles. I noticed the temps creaping up. I checked the fan and it was not on. For now I'm using the other mod'd I8Kfangui.

If you could do me a favor duffy, export the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CD\I8KFAN and pm me the text of it.

Not only did your rep points go up, but I love this program... thanks sooo much. With the new temps set lower I dont have up and down temp variations at idle, and I was able to get my cpu down to 24c

I'm currently using the program with the m70, I'm figuring your changes should work with it as well, yeah?

I don't have one to test it on, but it does work on 8500, 600m, 9100, xps, 9300, xps2 so far.. so it should work just fine.

Not sure if this is in your plans or not but it would be nice to beable to change the color of the display in the taskbar I usually use black themes and its hard to see unless you hold the mouse over it other than that you have done a awesome job!

Ok newbie question -- If I uninstall this program, will the default Dell temperature setting come back or do I have to reinstall something else?

Yes, it will revert to the bios manangement of the fans after you reboot.

You can also press Fn + z to do this without rebooting.

Looks real great and works fine after using it for a couple days, Great job! Only think I found that could be changed ONLY if you ever re-did it for something bigger I'm might be missing is that where it says "DIMM TEMP". Temp is all caps there but where all the others such as "CPU temp" "Gpu temp" are all lower case. Very minor and Im not nit-picking, just pointing it out for possible future changes. Thanks for the great program, can we I throw a couple bucks your way?? Paypal??
