"RAM failure on data bits xxxx* of high byte of memory bus."

IOW, Memory is bad. Take out the memory that is accessible from the bottom cover and see if it boots. if it does then reinstall the memory. Make sure to remove power and battey first before taking memory out and putting it back in. See if it works then, if it does then it was not seated correctly.

Found a better manual. It's in PDF.

Might try running memtest86

I removed the accessible memory but still doing the same?.That mean its a big fix job!

And if it wont show anything on the display screen will memtest 86 work?

Thanks.

Memtest86 won't be of any help if it will not even POST (Power On Self Test).

Also, these beep codes aren't always 100% accurate.

I just though of something while i was lunching... When you turn it on and the screen stays off can you see any activity from the hard disk led? Like a pattern telling that it might be booting into Windows? I am just asking because it might be the inverter or something else coming from the LCD. If not then it's definately something like the memory or else.

Looks like there's something wrong with either the internal ram or something else in there. Sorry

Quick questions Pete...Can i replace the internal ram,or is it part of the motherboard?

And if the motherboard is broken...where is the best place to get a new one,I tried searching for it but came up with nothing?

Thanks .

You can use Fizi & Compman55 internal ram replacement guide found here: http://emachines.fizi.ca/guides.php?ID=3

I have done this procedure and even though it is fairly detailed it should not be attempted by just anyone. You got to be very careful in there. Everything can be removed easily by hands except for the screws and the ram module

I followed the guide and changed the internal ram with new ram. And it is stil the same beeps i get.

Could it be the motherboard that is faulty? I am at the pulling the hair out stage now.
