I'm not stuck on having to have the best of the best, like some here. I care less if a working 7700m is the badest laptop on the block. It's like I have a pretty kick ass truck. It's more than capable of handleing 90% of whats thrown at it. I can't help but laugh when some tool pulls up next to me and his tires are the size of my truck and he needs a ladder to get down. So what he has the baddest truck on the block, it isnt the perfect blend of perforamce and comfort though. The 7700m size is already a sacrifice in the comfort section. I didn't mind the size or weight though. Aside from the heat being just uncomfortable, we all know what heat does over time to components.
LOL, it's not like I'm going to be playing games in a carboard box eating from a trash can over all this. I'm pretty close to having this laptop sold for $600 which helps offset things a bit. Yea, I would of made out better by taking the 15% hit and buying a $2,3000 laptop. There's just something about paying $500 for Mr. Alienware's Wild Ride that ticks me off. Arghh, I got to head to work. Take care guys.
