Mine has been sitting at my house for over 3 weeks now in its box Sigh. Damn Iraq, and Damn all the carzy towels with guns... But i go home in 12 days, just for leave but i can pick up my beast. After i read this post im nervous as all hell, because i wount even be in the country to complain. I can imagine how long it would take to get fixed considering im in Iraq.

Just a heads up to everyone: availingfaith has changed his name to DarkSpartan. His integrity hasn't changed and there is no intention to decieve anyone. I even made the mistake of thinking something was up but it was my mistake. availing (DarkSpartan) still sent me a link to check out his new 9300 review. If anyone want to check it out in the Dell review forum the thread title is "DarkSpartan's 9300 Review".

Still waiting for for an update and link to this Alienware review.

I actually got a phone call today from an AW rep telling me that my Aurora was shipped. I told him that I got the e-mails yesterday letting me know. He said he just wanted to make sure I had got the e-mails and that I knew it was shipped. He also said I should get it tomorrow. Thats 1-2 days earlier than I thought.

You cant imagine how nervous I was when I saw it was them on the caller ID. lol

Another step in the right direction. Thanks again AW_Richard.

It showed up a few hours ago. A day earlier than expected. I haven’t even had a chance to power it up yet. The case is amazing looking. Not a scratch to be found.

One thing I'm confused on and would like some input from you guys.....I called tech real quick to see if they would walk me through installing the wireless PCI card. And I was told no. I was told by some other techs that I should call before installing anything so they could help. I understand they will not provide support for 3rd party stuff but I thought they would help with installing something like a pci-card. I asked about memory and was told they didn’t support installing new memory either.

I was a little hesitant because of the dual video cards. There very little room. I was asked to use it for a bit before installing anything to make sure it worked. Which totally makes sense so I'll put off installing the card for a day and run it with nothing but factory components. I could of sworn I've seen it talked about on this board that AW tech asks you to call in before installing something. I could be wrong.

Anyhow, my first impressions are great. This thing is a beast. Cant wait to fire it up. More to come....

I have to say AW Richard gives you correct information then when you confirm it or inquire about it or get the emails from AW they will for the most part not be close to what AW Richard has said. At this point stick to what AW Richard has said for dates and they will be correct. Something similiar happened with AW_Jaun plasmashot......And is it me or are the CSR getting a bit more nasty over the phone?
