I don't know if any of these are possible, but theyre just some ideas I had.
First, could you somehow switch the function and control keys? I'm so used to having the control key on the far left, and it constantly screws me up while I'm working or playing a game.
Second, I dont really like the placement of the volume keys and the need to use the function key to change the volume. I really wish that there were buttons hardwired to the volume that could change the volume even while the laptop is off, but I understand thats probably not possible. The next best thing would be dedicated buttons, rather than function buttons. Is there any way you could change perhaps the bluetooth on/off and browser buttons to be volume up/down buttons instead?
Also, I looked in atkosd.exe with a resource editor, and there seem to be a bunch of stuff in there that I havent found a way to access on the W3V. For example, there seems to be an "etiquette mode," microphone on/off, ambient light sensor (not sure if the w3v has one), some equalizer presets, a Fn key lock, and different CPU speed modes. Am I missing something, or are these only available on other laptop models? Btw, after installing your hcontrol, the wlan key doesnt seem to do anything. Is the control panel reference that you included wrong?: @="control ncpa.cpl"
Thanks for your superb work, btw. So great to be able to use mediamonkey again.
