I wrongly flashed the Nvidia go5600 video card in my green 766 Area-51m laptop, and the correct file I need, the one I had on it before I flashed it cannot be found anywhere, not even from Alienware.
Ok, so I need someone to make a backup file of their video card BIOS and send it to me, please:
/// ONLY for someone with a go5600 in their 766 Alienware laptop ///
-- Download the nVidia flash utility from here:
http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=896 [NVFlash 5.10]
-- Take a MS-DOS Boot disk and add the NVFlash 5.10 file to it.
-- Restart with the disk in the drive to boot into DOS with it, meaning, restart your computer, NOT from inside XP, cause it wont work.
-- Once at the A: prompt, type "nvflash -b mybios.bin" (without the quotes) to save your video card bios onto the 3.5" disk as the name: "mybios.bin"
Thank you for your kindness, and please send the file to me at Chemical25@gmail.com
