Hi can someone point me in the direction of the latest driver for a ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 please thanks for your help

http://www.omegadrivers.net/

those are the, as seen in the address, omega drivers, just pick your OS and it'll give you the drivers. They are kinda tweaked, and so many people use them over the regular ATI ones, but if you just want to stick with the basics, its probably a good idea to just use the ones on sager's website. Good luck!

I've had issues with the newer drivers from omega, I'm on an older set.

i also had issues with the omega's, so i jumped to dna drivers...

how do those DNA drivers work? i checked out their website so i am just curious. maybe i will try them on sunday, with my reformat.

edit; on further examination, seems they are in beta. well ill stick with ATI catalyst drivers modded with DHmodTOol. just curious what your video card is tho tmg?

Go to www.driverheaven.net and download Mobility Modder. Then go to www.ati.com and download the latest Cats. Install the Cats. You'll be told that your card isn't supported. Run Mobility Modder, point it to the folder that contains the Catalyst files and let it moddify the inf files. Rerun the setup. Reboot. Your now using the latest ATI drivers.

Your mileage may vary here as several of the posters in the driverheaven forums have had issues with the way mobility modder modifies the latest catalyst drivers but it's worth a shot. FWIW I couldn't get the 5.4 Cats with CCC working properly but have had really good luck with all the other versions.
