Games Minimize to the Taskbar when Launched

Whenever I open a game to be played it minimizes to the taskbar and I have to click on it multiple times to get the game to open to the fullscreen. Is there any way I can fix this problem?

well, i dont have a fix for that, but i just want to be able to run games in a window...who knows how to do that?

After I click on the game in the task bar multiple times the game load and then when connecting to a server it connects, but when loading the level it copmletely exits out of the game and brings me to my desktop automatically closing the gaming application. WTF? Any suggestions? PleAsE!
