I just built comp with the following specs for a bud:
soltek sl-400-64 mobo
512 corsair value select
80gig wd800jb hdd
ati9200 64 meg vid card
350 watt psu and aluminum case
ligitech keyboard and mouse
cd-rom standard
Now, when I install winxp home (or windows server 2003), it will only get so far. Sometimes I can get to the licence agreement only to have it stop responding to any keys. Sometimes it will freeze at the "please wait" screen right before it.
I have disabled overheat protection and such, but it seems to make no difference.
Any suggestions?
