8790 "Hiccupping" when fans turn on.

Sometimes when my fans kick on, my 8790 kind of hiccups - it'll freeze for a split second, be fine for another second, then freeze for another split second and then be fine. It only happens for about 2-3 seconds and doesnt usually happen until the next time the fans kick back on. Its noticeable when I play music (as it'll freeze) and when I use the mouse.

I've ran Adaware and Spybot to make sure its not something related to that. I've scanned for viruses, defragged, and everything and still get the same problem. I even turned off any unnecessary services in services.msc and I have nothing major running in the background.

The fans kick on at about 50c and stop when it reaches 40c.

Is this a common problem for the 8790s? It doesnt always do it when the fans kick on, but it does it enough to be annoying.
Any possible fixes?

Would a newer and updated BIOS fix this?

My current BIOS is:
BIOS Revision: V122 1.00.10
KBC/EC Firmware Revision: 1.00.F5
VBIOS Revision: VER008.017M.097.000-2004/2004/03/29

It seems that other people have a more up to date bios.

I'm beginning to think that it doesnt only happen when the fans kick on and off, because it is also happening while the fans are already on.

Does anyone have any ideas? It makes listen to MP3s, typing and using the mouse annoying.

See what else is running on the machine? INCD is a baddie, and so are some options for antivirus or compression/defragmentation software.

The only thing I have running in Startup (found in MSCONFIG) is

Thats it. What would be causing this? What is INCD?

I'm beginning to think that my problem might have something to do with the wireless adapter. Everytime I disable it, I do not seem to notice it freezing up for those split seconds. Why would the wireless adapter be causing this?
