I notice that PCtorque has a new line of Laptops with Touch screen .
Does any one know ;-
How reliable are the Touch screens are ? I know that most PDAs have them nowadays.

What is the expected life of the screen ?

How easily are they broken ?

Thanks

I'm not personally into writing my notes on the screen, I'd rather type it because my writing is even worse than my typing =). They are set up really well though and seem to hold up great. We haven't had any problems yet and have sold quite a few of them. There's a mssg board for them where people post their problems HERE

Ever thought about using Dragon Naturally speaking ?
I use this program - I speak and it types !!!! Only drawback is that you have to be alone in a room or one person at a time speaking ! Otherwise it really gets confused!
Thanks for the link.
