I rather deal with email customer care, order support, and within 12 hours they will be answering me. I do not do it over the phone because they are very 'friendly'. It had happened to me when ordered my Canon XT, afterwards i saw another coupon which was better, i emailed them and asked if they could honor it, because i did no want to have to cancel an order to reorder with the new coupon; and they honored it.
Bug them through email, you will see that you will get your 10% honored.
