Problem using 10% DPA coupon

Hi, I have recently trying to use the 10% DPA coupon to buy i9300 (with $750 stacked). But for some reason, the 10% discount did not appear after I select to paid by my DPA. I'm on a final page before clicking the submit order button and yet to see the 10% discount apply. Did I do something wrong? Thanks.

when you entered the coupon was it listed saying that it will take the additional 10% off at checkout? Maybe once you hit submit order it'll take the additional 10%, or it may have already done so.

Yes, it was listed in the cart that it will take off an additional 10% off after DPA is chosen. But never gotten it even after I submitted the order. So I had to cancel that order.

Same thing happened to me. About 2 hours before I actually ordered I went through the whole checkout process and it worked fine. Then when I tried to actually place the order it wouldn't work. I went ahead and placed the order, called up customer care and told them the deal. She tried the code herself (it worked) so said she would give me the 10% but it won't show up until after my order ships.

i tried to call in yesterday after i heard all the problems and they told me it was internet only...i told them i was not working....they told me it was internet only....i told.............you get the idea i got no were with them yesterday they would not do it over the phone for me

i had the same exact problems with the coupon. i called and complained and all i got was a 75 dollar concession. i would have saved more from getting thr 10 percent off. arg

I had the same problem.. can you tell me the customer care number that you dialed? I emailed last night but no response as of yet.

I believe it was 800-915-3355. I don't remember which menu options I went through to get to CC though.

John, I have tried to call that number but they said that they can not apply the coupon over the phone. I have been on the phone with them for 5 hours, ridiculous. What should I do? Would the coupon be applied after my order ships? Thanks.

Same deal here; the 10% coupon wasn't applied, & I can't get Customer Care to apply it. Hard for me to complain too loudly, as I still feel like I got a pretty good deal w/ the $750 off, but......

I didn't have to try too hard, I guess I got lucky with the rep. Sorry you aren't having any luck, keep trying. What she told me was that she wasn't actually applying 'that' coupon but just giving me 10% credit, since she tried the code herself and saw that it should have worked.

As it turns out I found the same system on dell outlet for 700 less, so the 10% was all for naught anyway.

I rather deal with email customer care, order support, and within 12 hours they will be answering me. I do not do it over the phone because they are very 'friendly'. It had happened to me when ordered my Canon XT, afterwards i saw another coupon which was better, i emailed them and asked if they could honor it, because i did no want to have to cancel an order to reorder with the new coupon; and they honored it.
Bug them through email, you will see that you will get your 10% honored.

I must have been reading your mind!! I sent Customer Care an email through the website, though I got a response, b/c of their predictive software, that simply showed various coupon exp. dates & such. I did reply to the email asking that a living, breathing human being take a look at my original inquiry. Man, I've been hounding Dell all day for this & other issues (this is my first attempted purchase w/ them), and I don't even have my laptop yet!! Sure as hell hope it gets better...or I'll be stuck looking at Gateways..
