It's not doing that for me. My brightness is not at max, and when I plug in the AC, it doesn't increase. I can turn it up with the brightness hotkey (Fn+Up) even when I'm on AC.

Edit: Scratch that, I'm an idiot. The plug I was connected to had no power, so that's why the brightness wasn't going up. I tried a different plug and it worked fine.

i just updated to A03....I hope this fixes the fan going off every 20-30 seconds when plugged in.

*edit* It did! It runs much quieter now, and the fan doesn't go off nearly as much.

Really?... maybe I should give it a go.

does anyone else notice a difference in the fans coming on/off with the a03 bios?

I updated through windows... and came back alive. Anyhow, I don't notice a difference in the fans.
