Let me first introduce myself, my name is Mike and let me just say it's a pleasure to be back here. I remember about two years ago when I would post on this board daily and it's nice to see that everyone is still as cheery as they used to be.
I hate to come out of no where and ask for help, I think it's quite rude, but I don't know what to do and I'm really getting kinda nervous.
I've been the proud owner of a customized 8790-S for over a year now and this is my first major problem.
My problem is that my screen seems to have random lines and dots going across it in random patterens. They are effected by the movement on my computer. (As I type this message, dots and lines are moving across my screen.)
Here's a small clip of what I'm talking about looks like:
That's at it's normal stage. Just picture those things all over the entire screen.
The scary part is sometimes when I'm browsing the internet or watching a video, my entire screen goes into an all out dot and line orgy and they start pulsating and changing shapes.
Like so;
And the only way it gets better is if I restart.
I have the 256MB ATI Radeon Mobility 9700
I've tryed reinstalling the drivers from my cd that came with the laptop and it didn't help. (I honestly have no clue if they're the most current.)
If anyone has any help or advice at all, that would be incredible. That way I can skip out on all the bother of talking with Sager themselves.
