Hi folks,

I guess this is going to be a pretty useful thread for all the owners of an HP laptop with a GWA-4080N (I've got a zd8080us model).
I was really pissed off when I noticed that the dvd burner wasn't able to burn DL dvds.. Doing some research, that's what I found:

1. Go to the Dangerous Brothers website
2. Look for GWA-GMA-GSA-4080N
3. Download the Sony OS35 firmware (here)
4. Flash your unit
5. Reboot

And voila'! A shiny new Double Layer burner in your laptop for free!
