FYI, this was posted on the Sony website today, (4/29/05):

"This utility updates the Phoenix® BIOS to version R0072G4, and addresses an issue with occasional graphic corruption."

Did the update, but no noticeable difference yet... I was hoping for something that would let us change the fan cut-on/cut-off temperatures, but no dice.

Has anyone who has upgraded done any benchmark testing to see if this brings down speed to get rid of the "video corruption."
