Having Problems with The Media Player

Okay then, here's the problem: At random, the media player on my Sentia will freeze up my computer, Have tried MP9 and MP10, same story, clean OS install, same story. It is not the files themselves, as one will freeze and then work perfectly, and all of them work with no problems on my desktop.
Any Ideas?

I've been having the same problem. I'll be listening to music or watching a video and it'll just start acting up. I can't figure it out. Have you had any luck yet?

I've often had problems with Windows Media player, even in just playing CDs. Thus, depending on the media, I use foobar or DVlaD; though I sometimes use realplayer. *shrug*
