Read the latest reviews, and purchased PC-Cillin Internet Security for around $ 49.00. It was rated above Nortons, which I have now learned to dislike a lot, because its a resource hog, and difficult to uninstall completly, leaving much of itself behind.

Is that a firewall prog or a anti-virus program?

Trend Micro PC-cillin is an antivirus program. Since I switched from using Norton and McAfee, I have not had a single failure or intrusion. HIGHLY recommended.

Trend micro again. I got it after reading all reviews on the internet. No sign of slowing down system at all.

BTW, McAfee comes with Dell computer really sucks. Slow system big time and can not get rid of it cleanly even use unintall. I have to reformat entire hard drive to get rid of it.

you can also download microsoft anti-spyware beta....it's a free download, but its direct from microsoft, so its pretty good and have found it to work pretty well

I currently use AVG 7.0.

Would PC-Cillin be better for me?

Here was a review for AV software that might help in the decision process.

AVG is free and good enough if not better than Norton, McAfee etc IMHO
